Activism in Existence, the series that seeks to uncover the individuals story, and their experiences of being an activist, how they’ve changed the world and how activism has changed them. In this episode, Tina Rothery, from Lancashire's Anti-Fracking Nanas, speaks about how she became an activist. Tina's community are somewhat unconventional activists, often being older, mothers and grandmothers, who want to protect their neighbourhood for their children. Lancashire’s anti-fracking movement has been resiliently preventing the extraction industry from fracking, and minimising the damage it causes to their local and wider environments.
