Activism In Existence: Anthony Bellotti

Activism In Existence, the series that seeks to uncover the individual's story, and their experiences of being an activist, how they’ve changed the world and how activism has changed them. In this episode, Anthony Bellotti talks about his experiences of being an animal rights activist, and his role as founder and president of the organisation White Coast Waste, a taxpayer watchdog organisation, who fight against taxpayer and government funded experimenting on animals in the United States. This year White Coat Waste won the Public Awareness Prize at the 2018 Lush Prize. The Prize, run by Lush and Ethical Consumer Research Association, rewards projects from a range of disciplines fighting to bring an end to safety testing on animals. It comes with a £350,000 prize fund, and has been in action since 2012.
