The John Robb Tapes | Kristoffer Rygg (Ulver)

'The John Robb Tapes' is a new series which unearths the incredible archive of old interviews that music journalist John Robb has amassed over the years. Episode 8 is an interview with Kristoffer Rygg of Ulver. Ulver are a fascinating band... their name means 'Wolf' in Norwegian, which is their home country: they grew out of the Black Metal scene in Norway and have been on an incredible musical journey since then: from working with the Norwegian National Orchestra, up to their current sound, which is a deep dark electronic music. All their albums come with a remarkable array of topics and subject matter, which their lead man, Kristoffer, explains in this interview.
