Art As An Act Of Rebellion (SXSW Special)

In this special episode of Art, As Told By…, recorded live at SXSW festival during Lush Presents’ day at the British Music Embassy, Nuala Davies holds space with an array of artists to explore the rebellion within their work, the empowerment that can be found in the freedom of expression and how society can use art as a tool of rebellion and inspire change. Guests include Dzidzor, a poet, community organiser, performing artist and founder of Black Cotton Club, Tim Stegall, punk-rock writer and musician with The Hormones, and Ruth Daniel, CEO of In Place of War, an organisation which uses creativity in places of conflict to inspire positive change.
